Credit-related information, including personal and business credit history, payment behaviour, collections, judgments, bankruptcies, consumer proposals, inquiries, and creditworthiness;
Identification and verification information required to confirm identity, ownership, business legitimacy, and eligibility for financing;
Any other information reasonably required by lenders, funding partners, merchant cash advance providers, underwriters, insurers, legal professionals, brokers, or service providers for the purpose of assessing or completing a financing request.

2. How Your Information May Be Used

I authorize Toronto Finance Company Inc. to use my information for the following purposes:

To assess my financing needs and determine suitable funding options;
To prepare, package, submit, support, and manage financing applications;
To verify identity, business activity, financial position, income, ownership, and creditworthiness;
To communicate with me regarding my application, document requirements, approvals, declines, renewals, funding offers, or related services;
To refer or submit my information to third-party lenders, merchant cash advance firms, private lenders, alternative lenders, banks, credit unions, brokers, and other funding partners;
To assist funding partners with underwriting, due diligence, risk assessment, approval, closing, renewal, servicing, or collection-related requirements;
To maintain business records, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, prevent fraud, and protect the rights and interests of all parties involved.

3. Consent to Share With Lenders and Funding Partners

I understand and agree that Toronto Finance Company Inc. may share my personal, business, financial, credit, banking, and application information with selected third-party financing partners, including but not limited to:

Merchant Cash Advance firms;
Alternative business lenders;
Private lenders;
Banks and credit unions;
Commercial finance companies;
Equipment financing providers;
Working capital lenders;
Brokers, referral partners, underwriters, legal professionals, appraisers, insurers, and service providers are involved in the financing process.

I understand that these third parties may independently review my application, request additional information, verify the information provided, conduct credit or banking reviews where permitted, and make their own approval, decline, pricing, or funding decisions.

I acknowledge that Toronto Finance Company Inc. does not control the underwriting criteria, approval decisions, interest rates, fees, terms, conditions, or funding timelines of third-party lenders or funding partners.

5. Communication Consent

I consent to being contacted by Toronto Finance Company InC, its representatives, brokers, referral partners, lenders, merchant cash advance providers, and funding partners by phone, email, text message, online portal, or other communication methods regarding:

My financing application
Missing documents;
Funding options;
Approval or decline status;
Renewal opportunities;
Related business financing products or services.

I understand that I may withdraw my consent to marketing or non-essential communications at any time, subject to any legal, contractual, underwriting, or servicing requirements.

6. Accuracy of Information

I confirm that all information and documents provided by me are true, accurate, complete, and not misleading to the best of my knowledge.

I agree to promptly notify Toronto Finance Company Inc. of any material changes to my business, financial position, ownership, credit, debts, income, banking, or application information.

I understand that inaccurate, incomplete, false, or misleading information may result in a decline, cancellation of approval, change in terms, termination of funding, or other consequences from a lender or funding partner.

7. No Guarantee of Approval

I understand that submitting an application or providing documents does not guarantee approval, funding, renewal, specific terms, interest rates, fees, repayment amounts, or timelines.

All financing is subject to lender or funding partner review, underwriting, due diligence, approval, documentation, and final conditions.

8. Security, Retention & Confidentiality

Toronto Finance Company Inc. will take reasonable steps to protect the information provided and maintain confidentiality. Information may be stored electronically or physically and may be retained for as long as reasonably required for application processing, business records, legal obligations, compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, underwriting history, and future financing review.

I understand that some information may be retained even if my application is declined, withdrawn, or not completed, where retention is required or reasonably necessary for business, legal, compliance, or record-keeping purposes.

9. Consent From Business Owners and Applicants

If I am submitting information on behalf of a corporation, partnership, business, co-applicant, guarantor, director, shareholder, officer, or beneficial owner, I confirm that I have the authority to provide this information and to consent to its collection, use, and disclosure for financing purposes.

I also confirm that any individual whose personal information is included in the application has authorized me to provide such information to Toronto Finance Company Inc. and its financing partners.

10. Client Authorization

By signing, submitting, clicking “I agree,” or otherwise providing information to Toronto Finance Company Inc., I confirm that I have read, understood, and agreed to this Privacy, Consent & Authorization Disclosure.

I authorize Toronto Finance Company Inc. to collect, use, verify, store, and share my information as described above for the purpose of assisting me with business financing, merchant cash advance options, working capital, loans, refinancing, or other related financial solutions.
